I've somehow never heard of the saga of "VerizonMath" before now. This is... amazing.
$1 ≠ 1¢ <-- This was understood.
$0.5 ≠ 0.5¢ <-- This was understood.
$0.002 ≠ 0.002¢ <-- This, apparently, was utterly mind-boggling.
$ (dollars) ≠ ¢ (cents)
20,000 dollars ≠ 20,000 pennies.
$71.79 ≠ 72¢
20,000 dollars = 2,000,000 pennies.
0.002¢ = $0.00002
$0.002 = 0.2¢
Math... is really not that hard.

A pen and a napkin would've clarified (if not solved) this issue in no time.
That said, this whole exchange would've been enough to make me switch over to whoever their competitor is without a second thought. I have zero tolerance for companies that give me false information and then expect me to just suck it up for believing them.
