Some say that Israel sees itself as David, vs the rest of the Middle East, which is Goliath.
In my eyes, at least right now, it seems more like Israel itself is Goliath.
And Goliath's weapons dealer is saying something like "Look, man, we get it, and we totally agree with you. You really should beat that kid senseless, because he hit you in the eye with a rock. But... we just don't think you should use the big greatswords and warhammers and such, so we're not gonna give them to you anymore, at least not until you stop beating on that guy so much. You already got a bunch of knives and the like that we already gave you. Just use those."
Meanwhile, David is laying over there, beaten, starved, sick, half-dead, barely able to lift a sling at all.
