Welp, they finally did it. Haven't bought it yet and will, of course, be waiting for at least a moderate sale, as usual, but it's still about 99.999% certain that I will be getting this eventually.

(And I have since bought and played the whole thing, except for the Haunted Castle stuff. It's pretty great. No complaints about anything, this time.)

Saw that earlier today when it popped up in the discovery queue I believe. I'll probably get it either on steam or on one of the consoles eventually but where I already own all 3 of the DS castlevania games I can afford to wait on it. That bonus 4th game isn't enough to bother getting it full price.

... that being said, particularly for the first game, Dawn of Sorrow, I have to assume they've done something to cut out or modify the parts where you need the stylus.

It's apparently either mouse or the right-stick on a controller for stylus stuff.

They apparently also give an option in addition to the above to change how the magic seal stuff in DoS works to some sort of button-based QTE thing?

This is all based on randos talking in the Steam forums[1], though, so take it with a grain of salt.

[1] - With all the expected asininity involved, because it's the Steam forums, after all.
