Donald Trump (and everything and everyone directly involved with and connected to and one step removed from Donald Trump, either visibly or behind the scenes) is like the aliens from the movie Independence Day.
MAGA is like those people throwing rooftop parties welcoming them.
The rest of us are like the ones trying to evacuate the cities. Some of us just can't help but stop and stare in horror.
