What a load of horseshit. Video games with summonable creatures have existed for decades now, and tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons had that shit for years before the NES ever existed. And the concept of "summoning a creature/demon/whatever" is as old as myth itself. It sure as hell didn't originate with goddamn Pokemon. Why the fuck is Nintendo being allowed to get away with patenting really basic shit like this?
