So this shit was staring me in the face when I happened to open my Google News app this morning.
*heavy, weary, innervated sigh*
For now, I'm mostly just going to echo John Scalzi and say that while this is some rancid horseshit, it's not exactly new or never before seen rancid bullshit. The only thing I'll add is that while Mr. Scalzi is talking about "this half of the globe," the US is not and has never been limited to just "this half of the globe" when they pull shit like this. (That said, I suppose it is telling that there is a whole entire page on Wikipedia that covers "United States involvement in regime change in Latin America" that is separate from and in addition to the other whole entire Wikipedia page that covers "United States involvement in regime change" just in general.)
I guess, in this particular case, the difference is that Trump simply didn't even bother with trying to finagle full cooperation out of Congress before pulling this shit? It's almost as if Trump believes he's above the law or something. Imagine that.
Also, just to note, it has been 36 years, to the day, since January 3, 1990.
Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and to hell with every single lickspittle who is still propping up his decrepit ass and sniffing the putrid farts that spew forth from said decrepit ass, as usual, and the sooner the better. (Wouldn't it be really nice if, just this once, some other country/countries performed "regime change" in the United States? ¬_¬ But then... on the other hand, I suppose that's kind of already happened, and that's terrible.)
