Timing.

Wow, I just missed the rain. I went to QFC after school, which involved then walking a couple of blocks back home carrying groceries. I just got in and, after sitting at the computer for a bit, suddenly heard... something... beating against the window. Hard. Upon checking it out, I see that it's rain. It only lasted for a minute or so before it began raining more like it normally does.

Now, while it does rain a lot out here, it rarely rains hard enough for it to slam up against the window like that, especially considering that I'm on the ground floor of a two-floor condo complex. Or, I suppose I should say, the wind rarely blows hard enough while it's raining to make it do that. It was like someone was standing outside and blasting the window with a water hose or something.

In either case, I just missed getting myself and my groceries absolutely drenched by about two or three minutes.
