Given that I'm finally pretty much finished with my CS280 assignment as of a few minutes ago, aside from Doxygen-izing it, and given that, after some deliberation, I have decided that my time would be better spent sleeping instead of doing (or, more appropriately, half-assedly attempting) the MAT250 homework tonight, (which isn't officially due until Thursday, and which, thus, I haven't started on yet since I have had too many other things to do this week, but upon which the quiz tomorrow is apparently going to be based, according to an email the teacher sent out which I didn't see until I got home at around 11:00 pm tonight), I have decided to end the night with the following:

Things that make you wish it were still April Fool's Day:

Paris Hilton Considered for Mother Theresa Role

and

Sex tourism thriving in Bible Belt

Instead of letting young children ride the bus for free, I think that Metro should, instead, charge parents to let their kids ride. By as much as ten times the standard fare, perhaps. If standard fare is $1.25, charge $12.50 for each child someone brings with them to ride the bus. For peak times it would be $15.00 per. Metro might not make a killing off of this plan, but honestly, I don't give a crap about that. All I care about is that it would greatly thin out the number of small children who rather frequently ride the bus. I find it absolutely amazing just how big of a headache I can attain during a short, ten minute bus ride. But then, when there are multiple screeching, shrieking banshees children on the bus, those ten minutes can seem like ten hours.

I don't mind children normally, but damn...

Oh, and before I eat the lasagna that's currently cooking in the microwave and then dive into the MAT250 homework and, after that, work on the game, I'd just like to make note of something I just found out about via Penny Arcade:

Bethesda has released a new mod for Oblivion that adds horse armor to the game...

...and it costs two dollars to download.

There are two more mods on the way which will add new areas to the game...

...and these will also cost two dollars to download...

...each.

And they are almost assuredly going to be releasing future content as well...

...which will also probably cost two dollars a piece to download.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of this, really. I'm certainly not going to be buying them, at least not any time soon, if only because Bethesda may reverse this policy of, dare I say it, charging money for new content (ugh shiver). While this is annoying for me and probably many others, however, I'm not entirely sure that I disagree in principle with Bethesda doing this. It's their game and their content, after all, and if they want to charge money for it (and if people are willing to pay for it) then it's all peachy for them.
