Oh, and before I eat the lasagna that's currently cooking in the microwave and then dive into the MAT250 homework and, after that, work on the game, I'd just like to make note of something I just found out about via Penny Arcade:
Bethesda has released a new mod for Oblivion that adds horse armor to the game...
...and it costs two dollars to download.
There are two more mods on the way which will add new areas to the game...
...and these will also cost two dollars to download...
...each.
And they are almost assuredly going to be releasing future content as well...
...which will also probably cost two dollars a piece to download.
I'm not entirely sure what to make of this, really. I'm certainly not going to be buying them, at least not any time soon, if only because Bethesda may reverse this policy of, dare I say it, charging money for new content (ugh shiver). While this is annoying for me and probably many others, however, I'm not entirely sure that I disagree in principle with Bethesda doing this. It's their game and their content, after all, and if they want to charge money for it (and if people are willing to pay for it) then it's all peachy for them.

Okay, I've finished my lasagna and started up the last load of laundry, so enough LJ for me for now. *sighs heads off to do MAT250*
