I was lifting a clothes hamper full of clothes yesterday and apparently pulled a muscle in my back, and was mostly immobile for the rest of the day (well, more so than usual for me on a weekend), aside from managing to hobble a few blocks over to the doctor's office. They told me to just take it easy for a day or two and not move around too much, stay doped up on painkillers, use heat, that sort of thing, which is what I figured anyway, but didn't want to leave anything to chance.

When I woke up today, while it did feel at least somewhat improved, I still can't move much without it hurting, so I'm taking a sick day from work. Hopefully, this will be gone enough by tomorrow that I can move around again at least somewhat. I've missed too many days from work this year due to illness and whatnot already, and it's only the beginning of March. :/

"Perhaps the most frustrating, and the most exciting bit of news in there is that Dreamfall Chapters will not tie up the story. Despite being episodic, and despite having a definitive ending itself, it won’t be the big finale. That is, says Tørnquist, for The Longest Journey 2."

Man, that will be so awesome when it comes out in 15-20 years or so.

(EDIT)

Also, I'd not been following The Secret World at all, since I tend to avoid anything MMO like the plague. However, if Wikipedia is to be believed, "Tørnquist has also revealed that the game can be played in single-player mode (but still online), should a player be uncomfortable or unable to play with a group." If that's true, I may actually have to start looking into this more.

Well, one good thing to come out of not getting Street Fighter IV over the weekend (and it still hasn't arrived yet, but I'm not going into that right now), is that I was able to play through the rest of Koudelka.

Even taking into account that it's an old PS1 game, it's still pretty cool. The battles may be a bit on the slow and easy-side, but that's about it. I'd recommend it, if you can find it.

However, now that I've finished it, I've moved on to its successor, Shadow Hearts. As I said in a previous post, I'd already played through this one time, but it's been a few years.

And now, a rant in which I compare Koudelka to Shadow Hearts )
