Tennessee Campus Shooting

Hey look, there was yet another fucking public shooting last night. However, nobody apparently died during this one (as far as I know), so that means it only warranted a quick 20-second blurb on the local news before they moved on to a much more extensive (almost a full minute or two!) report about Lamar Odom using "herbal viagra" in a Nevada brothel, because that's oh so much more important. (EDIT) And now, a day later, they're still talking about that basketball-playing, Kardashian-fucking, "reality"-TV-starring, drunk-driving, Kardashian-divorcing, "herbal" viagra-using, brothel-visiting sideshow on the local news, as if anyone gives even the slightest shit. No other mention at all whatsoever of the Tennessee shooting, though. Those are some goddamn priorities for you, let me tell you. (/EDIT)

Oh, and take a look at this thing (EDIT 2, changed to a archive.is link since donotlink.com no longer works) that showed up in the news section of DuckDuckGo for the Tennessee shooting. "Serious Christians Should Buy a Gun, Says Tenn. Lt. Gov. After Umpqua Shooting; 'Our Enemies Are Armed'" is the headline. Uh huh, yeah, I'm sure Jesus heartily approves. Forget "turning the other cheek" and all that good shit, we gots to have us some more guns! Yeeehaaw. *eye roll + weary sigh*
