"The Longest Journey" and "Dreamfall" are both on sale on Steam right now for a combined total of $8.98 USD. Just thought I'd point that out.

and

Also, "Dreamfall Chapters" is on sale for $8.49 USD. So, all together, that is $17.47 USD for the entire series.

And if you already own at least one of these on Steam, but not the rest, whatever's left is actually even cheaper than their individual sale prices added together, if you scroll down to the "Complete your collection" bundle thing, on the individual pages for any of the games in the series. E.g. for me, since I have Dreamfall Chapters on Steam but do not own TLJ or Dreamfall on Steam (I have them both on GOG), TLJ and Dreamfall combined are available for $7.18, rather than $8.98.

(I really need to get around to playing Dreamfall Chapters someday, since I haven't actually done so as of yet, for whatever dumb reason. But first, that would "require" that I replay TLJ and Dreamfall again. Maybe that will be my next gaming thing to do, once I've fully tapped out Terraria.)

---

The last time I played through TLJ and Dreamfall apparently was *over* *eight* *frickin'* *years* *ago.* I honestly can't believe it's been that long. Seriously, what the hell, me? For shame.

I'm to the point now where I find those who say "both sides are bad" to be almost as uselessly terrible as those who say "Trump is/the Republicans are good." In either case, they're still ignoring/excusing the abhorrent behavior of Trump and his administration officials and those in Congress who prop them all up, which is unacceptable to me. Yes, neither side is spotlessly perfect, this is true. It's *never* going to be the case that one side or the other (or any given candidate from either side) will be completely without flaw whatsoever. To hold out hope for such a thing is pie in the sky, a pipe dream. However, one side (Democrats) *is* absolutely, demonstrably *better* than the other side (Republicans), by many orders of magnitude, and to just dismiss the whole thing as "politics as usual so who cares" is either disingenuous or completely ignorant.

(And if the point trying to be made is that there shouldn't just be "two sides," well, I actually agree with that, in theory. That said, I hate to break it to you, but the reality of the situation is that, at least for now, there *is* *indeed* only two sides, for all practical purposes. Sure, libertarians exist and the Green party exists and whatnot, but for all intents and purposes, the only truly viable parties in United States right now are either the Democrats or the Republicans, sad as that is to say. Those who pretend otherwise and vote as such are a non-insignificant part of the reason why Trump is the POTUS now, only slightly better than those who don't vote at all "because both sides are bad.")
