Watching this again, after a decade and a half... and I forgot how short it was. The entire thing, all nine episodes, is only 36 minutes long. I misremember it as being a lot longer than that. I guess part of it was that it took them something like 2 years to release the whole thing.

It's still pretty cool for what it was, though some of the humor is a bit... dated now. >_>

(Right, so just as I was about to post this, Dreamwidth shit the bed for several minutes. Probably should've just given up and went to bed, but... *shrug*)

This, too. I mean, while I'm watching decade old Street Fighter parody videos, and all. This, too, is way shorter than I remember it being. Even if you include all the extra bits at the end of the playlist, it's still only like 3-4 minutes longer than The Later Years was. Without those, it's more like 5-6 minutes shorter.

Anyway, that aside, it's still pretty cool, too. I'm glad they managed to get Juri's hair (closer to) right in the second thing, because it was pretty distracting in the first one. ¬_¬

Also, this was probably the first thing in which I ever saw Matt Mercer. Well, it was either Street Fighter High: The Musical or There Will Be Brawl (which I am not watching tonight, because that thing, unlike the others, is actually pretty long, like three hours and something... maybe tomorrowlater today [EDIT] Yeah, I watched all of TWBB again, too. [/EDIT]).

Also, this, again (featuring the cast of High):

*weary, irritated sigh*

Look. It's Texas. A state that is perpetually on the short list of finalists (along with, among others, Florida and my own home state of North Carolina) that are vying for the title of "Shittiest State in the United States of America." But with this, Texas may have become the undisputed winner of that title, at least for the time being.

But worse than that is the reason why Texas is so shitty: GQP leadership. It's why Florida is shitty. It's why North Carolina is shitty (though we, at the very least, had the modicum of good sense to elect a Democrat governor in the past two gubernatorial elections, which sort of counterbalances and mitigates some of the asinine horseshit that the GQP-infested NC legislature tries to do on the regular). The GQP is literally incapable of properly governing anything, at all, ever, which has been demonstrably proven beyond a shadow of a doubt time and time again, especially during the past decade or two. Any state with both a GQP governor and a GQP-dominated legislature, such as Texas, is going to be absolutely diarrhetic.

Anyway, so Texas (or, to be charitable, the dumbfuck assholes in Texas, though that sadly seems to be the majority of Texans these days) is whinging, yet again, about seceding from the United States. As the article points out, this is not a new thing, as it is a thing that usually tends to occur whenever Texas happens to not like who the President is. (Joe Biden is the President, by the way, not Donald Trump, despite the moronic thing these morons are moronically claiming to the contrary.) Honestly, even if the entire state of Texas itself doesn't secede from the union, I am totally in favor of finding an island somewhere (or maybe building an island, ideally somewhere in the Indian Ocean, between Africa and Australia) and shipping all of the Trumpanzees off to that island, where they can be Trumpanzees all they want without harming anyone else.

And anyone, anywhere who uses anything created by Dinesh DiSHonest (who himself hypocritically did something similar to the thing he's railing against in his shitty movie, for which he pleaded guilty, and for which he was pardoned by SCROTUS Dumbfuck Trump, as the article notes) as a model of reality is pretty much a lost cause at this point.

"We review the new TMNT: Shredder's Revenge beat 'em up from Tribute Games -- what did we think?!"

They had issues with the game, even though (ostensibly) they mostly liked it. However, just speaking for myself, their issues are non-issues, because I personally have less than zero interest in playing online multiplayer. Also, I have no problem with "exploits" nor do I need those "exploits" to be nerfed or whatever. (That's what fucked over Bloodstained, at least a little, i.e. the devs "fixing" "exploits" because people whined about them.) I mean, I get their point, and I agree that if I had any interest at all in playing multiplayer, which I don't, I'd probably want that shit to be toned down or whatever. But just me, playing by myself (which, to be fair, I haven't done yet, because I haven't bought the game), I don't give a flying fuck about taunting to fill up a super meter and how that supposedly "breaks the game" by "not engaging with the systems properly" if you do that or whatever the fuck. And Pat saying he'd probably prefer to have the supers, or taunts, removed entirely because "the original game didn't have them" or "they make it too easy" or what the fuck ever. *eyeroll + facepalm +smdh + weary sigh*
