"Media execs haven’t learned a thing from these AI tests"
"Game publisher CEO says talk on monitoring employees with AI was hypothetical and taken out of context: 'We don't use any of these tools for HR'"
For that second one, it's not like employers haven't been creepily monitoring their employees long before AI entered the scene. Keylogging has been a thing for decades, after all, as just one example. It sucked then, and it will continue to suck now if AI makes it even easier to do.
Only now, there's the potential for AI to "hallucinate" patterns in one's writings that aren't actually there and potentially get one fired as a result. (For instance, AI is apparently convinced that the US Constitution was written by AI.) I'll just say, again, that while I'm not anti-AI, I am definitely anti-using-AI-for-bullshit-purposes-for-which-AI-is-demonstrably-ill-suited.

I just learned today that this video exists. Thanks a lot, Taka. I'm honestly not sure if I'm being genuine or sarcastic here.
