It feels so weird and wrong to side with Elon fucking Musk even partially about anything at all, even just a little bit, and I still sorely dislike the guy and think that he's barely a hair's breadth away from being just as big of a moist shitstain on the underwear of humanity as the big orange Turnip himself is, but...
...I find myself hoping that Musk still has just enough residual influence with the Congressassholes considering passing this goddamned bIg BeAuTiFuL bIlL to change their minds and kill the fucking thing, even if I mostly don't care about Musk's reasons for wanting to do so (i.e. because he didn't get everything he wanted concerning EVs or whatever the fuck).
Oh, and Elon, we already have more than just 'one party.' We have more than two, in fact. It's just that American politics is so fucked up broken that only the top two[1] have any real chance of getting anyone elected on a consistent basis, and as such, none of the other parties really have any cachet with the general American public. And it fucking sucks.
[1] - Those being, right now, the Democratic Party and the MAGAt Party or Trumpublican Party or Trumpanzee Party or GQP or whatever one wants to call it[2], and those two are not a "uniparty" or whatever fucking dumbshit.
[2] - And, I guess, it could be claimed that there still exist the dying remnants of a "Republican Party," too, made up of the rare few people in that party who are not and never were on board the bad ol' Trump Train.
