Bought Fable: The Lost Chapters for PC and Shenmue II for X-Box (even though I already have the Euro import of Shenmue II for the Dreamcast).
While ringing up my stuff, the clerk mentioned how it sucked that Shenmue III would probably never see the light of day. I agreed and was sad.
But then, I added a $5 pre-order for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the stuff I was getting and was mostly happy again.
*lengthy pause*
After searching the 'net for a bit to see what buzz, if any, could found on Shenmue III, I happened across this article, dated August 23, 2005. Now, this thing is full of "undisclosed sources" and all that jazz, and I haven't seen it corroborated elsewhere since most other sites are simply linking back to this article. So I'll believe the contents when I see the final proof with my own eyes. That proof, of course, being the game mentioned in the article actually being released finally. In other words, don't anyone get their hopes up prematurely over this. Still, if there is some veracity to the article, then that's pretty frickin' sweet.
