Out of curiousity, does it mention who's bringing the case to court on Jack Thompson's behalf? Since he was forbidden to ever bring a case to court directly (to prevent pointless lawsuits being brought, such as the one against facebook.)
If he's doing so himself, I believe there were fines and/or potential jail time in order.
As indicated by his press release in the first link (http://www.gamepolitics.com/2009/09/25/one-year-ago-today) above, I'm guessing that he's doing it all himself. He seems to be under the delusion that his disbarment is null and void on some sort of technicality. He said he was going to start being a lawyer again by yesterday, October 1, and explicitly dared them to try and stop him. I await the vicious smackdown of Thompson that is likely in the offing with morbid eagerness. ...yet, in a way, I'm also strangely pulling for him as well, because he provides much more hilarity as a shitty lawyer than he does as a disbarred shitty lawyer.
Personally, I'm hoping they lock him up for 5 years. That way we don't have to listen to him at all for a little while. Except for his attempts to sue the prison system of course.
