I've been using Grooveshark for about a week now, after a recommendation from ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
stuckinacave. It's pretty awesome and all that, sure enough, but I still can't wrap my head around how (or if) this is legal like they claim it is, or how it has somehow managed to not yet be hit with the banhammer by the RIAA whether it's legal or not (because this seems like the sort of thing the RIAA would jump on with both feet, regardless), despite reading up on it. A lot of that stuff seems to be outdated though. Apparently they don't do the whole buy/sell thing anymore, for instance.
