Did you get my Xbox message last night? If not you need to check out Epic Dungeon on the XBL Indie channel. Simple action/rogue-like RPG for 80pts. Totally worth it. Highly addictive and lots of fun.

I sort of wish it was on PC instead of my Xbox so I could take it with me...

Yeah, I got the message, and I downloaded the trial version of it, but didn't actually play it last night. I ended up having to reconfigure my router from WPA2 to WPA, since the PSP apparently doesn't support WPA2, which caused me to also have to reconfigure the other consoles as well. (Well, the PS3 seemed to have no problem with it, but the 360 and Wii didn't like the changes and I had re-setup the network settings again.) When I finally got all that done, messed around with the PSP some more, and then went back to the 360, I'd forgotten I'd downloaded it and just went straight back into Fable 3. ^^; I'll give it a try when I get home from work this evening.

That sounds like a fun way to spend an evening...I think...

I played the trial and almost immediately bought it afterward. After dying a couple times on the 2nd or 3rd floor (due to event where you pick up the book made of flesh and summoning a ton of skeletons, in which I now just leave the book alone when I reach that one again), I've gotten one Berserker down to floor 14 before dying, and now I have another Berserker down to floor 27 when I saved and quit just now.

So, is there any reason not to spend all of your points on regeneration at first until you max it out? I should probably try some of the other skills though, because right now, my level 30-something Berserker has maxed regen and 4 points in his main skill, but nothing else. Might give him a point in freeze on the next level up that gets a point for skills.

My level up scheme for stats has been to alternate between putting all 3 points into luck and then even out the damage, defense, and dexterity stats with every other level up. Luck's currently in the high 50s with dmg, def, dex around 40 or so. I had to start pumping most points into dex though since it was lagging behind on the last few level ups, since it doesn't get boosts from weapons and armor.

Anyway, yeah, it's a pretty cool game, especially for just a dollar. Thanks for telling me about it.

Yeah I noticed the same thing myself. Regen is just too good. And likewise, I realized you need to get Luck up too just to find the better eq.

So yeah, not the most balanced game, but for $1 it's totally worth it.

I'm looking forward to more of the indie uprising games. There's a great looking Smash Bros styled game coming out shortly.

Just finished it with a level 73 Berserker (at something like 2 hours 50 minutes). It actually seemed to get easier in the later levels, 30-50. Even though there were more and harder enemies, that also means you level up faster as well. Of course, that's also around the time I gave myself the Ice and Orb skills (Poison too, but that didn't seem to help too much, though I only put 1 point into it). I'll probably give myself those much earlier in another playthrough.
