So I got up this morning at the incredibly unholy hour of 10:00am in order to be at school by 11:00am so that I could print out and submit that also incredibly unholy CS200 Assignment 4 before the noon deadline. (Normally, I'd probably just be getting out of bed right about now, if not later, since I don't have a class until 3:30pm on Thursdays.)

Well, as I was leaving the condo, I saw this white thing fall from the sky. "Whoa," I said. You know, a sort of Keanu Reeves style "whoa". As I boarded the bus and made my way to school, more of these white things continued to fall to the ground, with higher frequency.

Now, I vaguely remember something like this, back in North Carolina. There was a phenomenon there that we called "snow". This strange new phenomenon here is strikingly similar to the one back home. I'm not sure what they call it out here, but if I were to hazard a totally random, uneducated guess, that guess would be that they call it "snow."

I got to school at a minute or two before 11:00, did my thing, and was done with that crap by 11:05. So, next I did the sensible thing and came back home. I could have stayed there until my 3:30pm physics class, or even could have gone to the 2:00pm class. But why do something all crazy like that? Besides, if I'm going to get snowed in, I'd much rather it be at home than at school, right? (Well, actually, I have a more serious reason, in that I still need to do that mostly trivial sound assignment by tomorrow, and I need a computer that has sound capabilities without needing to use my clunky headphones that I neglected to actually bring with me to school this morning like I had been planning, and that's here at home.) The rest of the time today, what isn't spent on physics class, and most of tomorrow will most likely be spent working on our game, for once. The rest of the crap I need to do can wait until at least the weekend.

As I was walking home from the bus stop, a flake of snow somehow managed to get under the hood of my coat, fly upwards for a bit, and then downwards again to get behind my glasses and hit me right in the freaking eye. It was not the most pleasant thing in the world.
