I agree with Penny Arcade on the whole thing.
In the interest of fairness, here is an interview with Richard Gale, the punk-ass kid who was on the receiving end of the body slam, and his family (and here's a separate, earlier interview with Richard's mom). According to Richard, of course, Casey started the whole thing, and he, Richard, was the one that was being bullied by Casey. Sure. Right.
Even so, while I do think that Richard is getting a lot of deserved flak for this, I don't think he or his family deserve the full unfiltered brunt of the Internet's wrath that they have been getting. You know, random death threats and all that. But then, that's just how the Internet rolls, I guess. :/
