Haven't been sleeping too awfully well lately. I've started a new experiment with valerian root as a sleep aid. I've been unsatisfied with using stuff like Tylenol PM and such so I thought I'd try something different. So far, I've only used it for one night, with tonight being the second night. Results are inconclusive so far. I think I slept fairly well last night, though, so I guess that's a good sign? After taking them, I didn't feel anything like the definitive bodily tingling that goes along with antihistamine in stuff like Tylenol PM. Or, at least, I was already asleep before they fully took effect, perhaps.
However, there is one thing I can say with certainty. Valerian root, even in capsule form, smells incredibly nasty. I can't imagine how people are able to drink this stuff as a tea. ^^;
