Okay, Internet, about that whole "I used to (be/do) a (thing), but then I took a (thing) in the (body part)" meme that originated from Skyrim*. Yeah, you know the one I'm talking about. That was vaguely funny the first 500 times I heard it. But, I have to be honest with you, after hearing it an additional 10 million times or so after that? Not nearly so funny anymore.

* - Original phrase, for those not familiar with Skyrim: "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee."
