Remember this?
Yeah, that.
They went and made an actual full game out of it.
(EDIT)
Just finished it with all the ponies. I'll just copy/paste parts of what I said about it on Facebook to here.
You're essentially just playing through the same levels with each pony, but they all have different abilities.
Twilight can teleport (but only on teleportation pads) and shoot lasers. Rainbow Dash can fly and do a dash attack (appropriately enough). Applejack, on the other hand, is able to kick (though you actually have to turn around to face away from whatever you're kicking first) and... ...climb ladders. That's her "special" power. Climbing ladders. After Applejack, Pinkie Pie also has the magical ability to climb ladders as well as her party cannon (essentially the same as Twilight's lasers). Rarity is exactly identical to Twilight in abilities (i.e. lasers and teleportation), which is pretty lame. Fluttershy has flight like Rainbow Dash, and The Stare (which is essentially a melee attack similar to Applejack's kick, except that she doesn't have to turn around to face away first, which makes it better).
For this game, I'd have to say that Fluttershy is best pony (which, of course, is the case even outside of the game ¬_¬), slightly edging out Rainbow Dash. They both can fly (which makes the game a breeze), but The Stare is just slightly better than the dash attack that Rainbow has, mainly because with the dash, even though you have more range, it bites you because you had to be a slight distance away from whatever you are trying to hit, which made it troublesome to hit some of the breakable walls. Also, The Stare does more damage, strangely enough. Twilight and Rarity tie for third (since they're identical) and Pinkie beats out Applejack for second to last because she has a ranged attack that AJ doesn't (though, again, AJ's attack is way stronger in damage).
Overall, I'd have to say the game was a decent waste of the hour or so it took to play through it with all of them, I guess, so about ten minutes or so per pony. Now, I'm off to bed like I should have an hour ago. >_>;

(EDIT 2)
And now they've gone and made a commercial for the game that was based on a commercial. Weird, that.
