I mean, sure, on the one hand, a new Legacy of Kain game could be totally awesome. But on the other hand, Square Enix (who bought Crystal Dynamics in 2009) is only a step or two up from the likes of EA, Activision, or Ubisoft these days, so I don't know...
In any case, I'd rather they did a continuation from Defiance, which ended on a cliffhanger, rather than a reboot. Sadly, that's probably not likely (or, if it is, it would probably end up sucking ass), given that the lead writer for the original games is no longer with CD.
I am firmly on the fence for this one, at least until I have actual news beyond speculation based on domain name registrations.
