For those who, like me, hadn't already seen this before, the video of Will Wright's Spore demo from the 2005 Game Developer's Conference is probably one of the cooler things I've seen in a long time. I really hope this game delivers. 35 minutes long.

This rocks supremely. The only drawback is that there is no way I would ever have enough time to evolve my seintient creatures and go space-faring. Have to admit, though, it would be pretty fun to play God.
