Here, have a link. (It's an opinion piece about this.)
In fact, have two more. The top one I found via Wil Wheaton's tumblr (via his Facebook page) and the second two I found via that first one. The second two links are older, from back in December. In the second one, the author, a Lt. Col. Robert Bateman, talks about guns and why something needs to be done about them, why the U.S. Supreme Court is populated by several idiots (a stance I agree with, and for more reasons than just this), and what he would do about guns if he were running for president. (I'd probably at least consider voting for the dude, assuming he were actually really running.) In the third link, he pokes fun at all the death threat emails he got in response to that. Most of those death threats, he hypothesizes, were a result of the fact that the National Rifle Association posted an article about him on one of their websites. (Many more comments from other gun-worshipping idiots can, of course, be found down in the sections underneath those articles, if you have the masochism necessary to wade down into such filth. I couldn't stomach it for very long, myself. They seriously seem to have their undies all twisted over this guy.)
I'll just repeat here, in part, what I said elsewhere: "The National Rifle Association has grown into a monster... ...and it must be stopped, somehow. Period. Full stop. End of line." If the people posting death threats against the author of the above articles are NRA members, then they are clear evidence of the truth of my statement.
