I just left the following complaint on the National Do Not Call list complaint form:
"The harasser called multiple times, asking for my father who has been deceased for almost three years. Being told by both my elderly mother and myself that my father no longer lives here (though not that he is deceased), and for the harasser to not call our number again, and that I was going to report him to the Do Not Call list did not deter the harasser, as he continued to repeatedly call back immediately after we hung up on him, at least ten more times. Harasser spoke poor English with an obvious accent which sounded Indian. After getting the harasser's number via 1169 reverse look-up, and then plugging it into Google, it is apparent that the harasser is a scammer, as the number has been reported by many other people. The experience has been very enraging, and I hope something can be done to put parasites like this out of commission for good."
Not that I think leaving such a complaint will actually do any good, mind you, but it felt good to do it.
