"It's especially frustrating to play Air Control knowing how developers used to struggle to release even good games on Steam.

Today, over 900 games have been approved through Greenlight, and Air Control is one of them.
This game apparently gives Desert Bus a run for its money for worst game ever. Then again, Desert Bus was successful in that it was intentionally terrible. It accomplished exactly what it set out to accomplish. It remains to be seen if the same is true of Air Control. I doubt it, though I suppose it's possible this is just a huge troll on the part of the creator of the game.
In any case, troll or not, this just proves that Steam needs to still take an active role in what does and does not get released onto Steam, even via Greenlight. I'd rather have fewer games on the service, by far, than for crap like this to get through.
