What a crappy "talent" show

I just walked 3-plus miles from school to QFC and from there, loaded up with groceries, back to my condo. Not really sure why I did it, except that I hoped that the long walk would improve my mood.

I suppose that it did somewhat, since I've now decided to refrain from writing a post about the debacle that was the DigiPen talent show. I'll just say this much: by the end of it, I felt really bad for the three or four acts that actually showed some real talent, considering the rest of it. Not to even mention how utterly unorganized the thing was as a whole, but a lot of that could possibly be blamed on the almighty DigiPen network.

Wait... well dammit, I ended up writing an entry about the talent show, after all. Crap.

That was definitely the most awkward talent show I've attended, what with me having to sit in front of the two parents while Russ deliver his masturbation standup routine, and the Aristocrats. And Eddie...wow, that was just incredible.

And what the fuck was up with the intro for Paul? "Who is that? Did he audition? No? Oh, well you introduce him then since he's your contestant." That was some seriously screwed up bullshit too, in my not at all humble opinion, which sucks because Paul was one of the few good acts.

Honestly, when the fact that they only had enough pizza for maybe a fourth of the total number of people that showed up was the least of their problems, that's pretty telling. (*idly waits for the Red Baron he got at QFC to finish cooking*)
