This post here is essentially a sequel to an earlier post I made back in March. I'm just going to copy/paste some rantage I did over on Facebook into this post.
Initial post (a share of a post made by George Takei about this article):
Nothing surprising here. No shit she was right about Trump.
Anyone who still claims that Hillary Clinton would have been worse as POTUS than Donald Trump is utterly delusional (e.g. a good chunk of the people in the comments under George Takei's post there).
I'm just going to leave this here, as well: https://kane-magus.dreamwidth.org/824679.html
First comment under that post
It cannot be overstated how very many stupid, ignorant, gullible, and hateful people there are in those comments under George Takei's post. This is what it's like everyday on Facebook or Twitter or anywhere, whenever anyone posts something that is critical of Trump or supportive of HRC or, as in this case, both of those things. The Koolaid drinkers come out of the woodworks and spew their nonsense about "Hillary is a criminal" or "Hillary is a murderer" or whatever dumbfuckery. This is why Trump still has support in the lofty heights of 30% and more.
As I said in my journal post above, this is a result of the successful, decades long con pulled by the GOP. It is not tinfoil hattery to say this. The whole thing was called out for what it was as long ago as 1995, at least: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vast_right-wing_conspiracy
It's just that almost nobody believes it or pays attention, then or now, even though the results of it are still reverberating to this very day. They just chalk it up as "both sides are equally bad." You see all the inane shit spewed by the likes of FOX News and Breitbart and InfoWars and Drudge and so on, over and over again, ad nauseam, ad infinitum, ad absurdum? That's the tip of the iceberg. And people believe it as solemn fact, instead of seeing it for the asinine dumbshit that it actually is.
The same thing was attempted against Obama, as well. It's why so many fucking idiots go around spouting horseshit about how Obama (not Trump, Obama) was treasonous and deserved to have been impeached and put in prison and how it is Obama (not birther Trump, Obama) who is the race-baiter and so on and so forth, same as they said and still say about Hillary. It's ludicrous nonsense, and yet, far too many people take it as gospel truth.
Second comment:
People want to talk about "Trump Derangement Syndrome" or whatever... well...

Third comment:
Yes, people are spitting mad about Trump, too. The difference, though, is that the hate for Clinton is based on hearsay and third party bullshit and propaganda and flat out lies and such. The hate for Trump is based on the fucking words that continually spew out of Trump's very own goddamned anus-of-a-mouth on a nigh-everyday basis.
