Copy/pasted from a Facebook post from yesterday that I neglected to copy/paste yesterday:
With the dissolution of Super Best Friends Play and my apathy with regards to following those guys into their solo stuff, I'm now looking for replacements. And preferably something a bit more... I don't know... wholesome? than just watching Let's Plays of video games. For example, I'm strongly considering adding things like PBS's "It's Lit!" and CollegeHumor's "Adam Ruins" to my regular rotation, which would be a start. More stuff like that.
Or, you know, I guess I could use the hour-plus per day that I had been wasting, essentially, on SBFP to do something actually productive, like, say, write... but that's just crazy-talk. ¬_¬

That said, I already have stuff in my Youtube subscriptions that, up until now, I'd been mostly ignoring or only very sporadically watching, like Geek and Sundry and Did You Know Gaming and such.
DYKG is fine since their episodes are usually only in the 5-15 minutes range (and I've been sloooowly going through their backlog of episodes), but with G&S, as much as I'd *like* to get into watching stuff like Critical Role or whatever, the whole "4 hours per episode" thing is kind of daunting to me. I added them for Titansgrave, but then after I watched all of that, I kind of fell off of watching anything else from G&S. It's the same reason I never really got into listening to podcasts and such. But then, to look at it objectively, I was spending way *more* time per week on SBFP, just in 30 minute chunks twice per day, instead of in one big chunk, which, if it were all together, would be like 7+ hours per week instead of just 3 or 4 or whatever per week... and... it's not like I'm *forced* to watch that kind of longer thing all in one sitting... so... hell, I guess I'm just kind of weird and dumb about stuff like that. *shrug*
And, again, none of that is as... wholesome(?) as the other stuff I mentioned? I guess?

I'm also subscribed to TED Talks stuff, but hardly ever watch any of that, either... maybe it's time to change that, too.
