Pat's cringe and sigh when Ian said "Deep Silver" pretty much says it all[1]... except it doesn't say it all.
Pat and Ian don't even mention at all the fact that the promised "physical disc" version of Shenmue III is now just a useless coaster with nothing but an Epic Games Store client installer on it.
Also, not quite sure why Pat was feeling the need to kind of defend Epic Games so much (at least, comparative to his justified hardcore bashing of Deep Silver in this). No, Pat, Epic Games is absolutely not one of the wronged parties in this farce. They're a huge part of what is causing the problem in the first place. To hell with Epic Games right along with Deep Silver (and Ys Net, as they're not blameless in this horsefuckery either).
That whole "extra 'pre-order content' free to Epic customers but not Kickstarter backers" bullfuckingshit thing is new to me, though. But then... I guess that's just how the modern video game industry rolls now dawg, or some such dogshit. Fuck. The. Modern. Video. Game. Industry.
(EDIT) And, yep, sure enough... even though most of the comments are rightfully bashing Epic/Deep Silver/Ys Net, you still have some dingleberries down there rep managing it up. (/EDIT)
[1] - Despite the fact that Pat later seemed rather uninformed[2] as to what Deep Silver actually is.
[2] - As increasingly seems to be the case in all of these things lately, since Ian keeps having to explain things to him on-air. You'd think Pat would do at least a modicum of research instead of regularly making a fool of himself on the podcast itself by not knowing things, but I guess not? *shrug*
