I had held out hope that it may actually start to rain again eventually, given that it had been nice and cloudy for the past couple of days. But then today had to be depressingly bright and sunny. *sigh*
To cheer things up however, my copies of UmJammer Lammy, and Fatal Frame 1 and 2 arrived today. Ordered those the same day I ordered Beyond Good and Evil. All that's left now is Fatal Frame 3, which I ordered a couple of days later.
*EDIT*
Bah, Lammy doesn't work right. It plays fine until I actually get into the game proper with the Chop Chop Master Onion first level, and then the graphics get jerky and the music skips and has static-y patches in it. Damn it. It's likely the game (I got it used from ebgames.com), but there's a chance that it might be my PS2. It's quite a few years old now, and even on a few PS2 games, it has had some slight issues with load times. It hasn't actually screwed a game up like this before now, however, again assuming it's the PS2 and not the game. I don't see any scratches or smudges on the CD itself, so I don't know which it is... This is damn annoying.

*EDIT 2*
Okay, I think it's more likely the game disc being screwed up than my PS2, because I tried the game on several different PSX emulators on my computer and the behavior seems to be about the same. It would play fine (or as well as a PSX emulator can play) until it started the Chop Chop Master Onion level, and then it would start skipping or lock up or whatever. *sigh* I've never had to use the return policy from EBGames.com before, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I suppose I had better try the two Fatal Frame games and make sure they work as well. *sigh*

*EDIT 3*
Received an email from the EBGames.com returns department, and they basically just said that they would send a replacement and if it worked to just discard the other one, but if neither of them work to send them both back. I'd have expected them to want the first one back regardless, but I dunno. At any rate, hopefully I'll be getting a new working copy of Um Jammer Lammy in a few days. We'll see.
