Putting aside I have no interest whatsoever with streaming games like this, I would have failed to give a shit about stadia anyway simply because it's google.
Google's track record for killing ideas that aren't both instant market leading hits + very profitable is simply way too well known and documented.
I would not pay google money for something they'll likely kill off within a year or two of lackluster support. They're apparently in the lackluster support period now.
Hell, even OnLive lasted longer. It was around for what? Five years or some shit? (Which is five years longer than it should have been, but still.) Stadia hasn't even officially been around a full quarter of one year yet, and already Google seems to be losing interest in it. Yeah, if it's not basic Google search or Youtube or Gmail or maybe Google Earth, Google tends to shitcanthings pretty quickly.
It's a bit worse than "less than a quarter of a year" actually.
Remember, stadia isn't officially out to the masses just yet from what I gather. It's just the VIS (Very Important Suckers) that have access to their paid hardware so far.
So technically if Google is already losing interest in it, then they lost interest before officially launching.
