Man... I'm reading the current crop of comics of Megatokyo, and I'm like "I have no idea who any of these characters are. I don't remember when they were introduced or in what context or if they're new characters that I've never seen before. I don't know what relation, if any, they have to Piro, Largo, or the two girls they're hooked up with, and even their names I barely remember (Kimiko and Erika I think?)."
The ninja guy (Junpei I think?) was mentioned once in the past few strips but I don't think he's been actually seen for I have no idea how long at this point, real-time or comic-time. Or the magical girl that used to hang out with Ping (Yuki? I think?). Or, hell, Ping herself, for that matter. I misidentified her at one point, because her hair and such keeps changing randomly. The only one I really remember is Miho... Or at least I thought I did, because I went through several recent strips where I was like "Who is this random girl hanging out with this catgirl talking to Largo and Erika(?)?" It turned out that the "random girl" was, in fact, Miho herself, apparently.
I just. I don't know. Part of me wants to go back and reread the whole thing from the beginning, just to refresh myself on it. And part of me wants to just drop it altogether. I mean, I remember liking it at one point, and being invested in it. Now, though, I'm just all like who even are all these people and why should I care anymore.
