And yeah, going to the grocery store and having to deal with morons not wearing masks and obliviously (or maybe purposefully, belligerently) ignoring the clearly posted "One Way"/"Do Not Enter" signs on the aisles has been incredibly tiresome during the two or three times I've had to go to Food Lion since all this shit started. People just don't seem to give a fuck.

I currently don't have a mask - although will have one hopefully soon. Sister made one for me she says but hasn't gotten it to me yet.

All this being said, I live in a province with only 2-3 active confirmed active cases remaining. We only had 120 cases total. We have our borders essentially closed to the other provinces. If anyone does come in to the province they're required to self isolate for 2 weeks. Pretty sure there are hefty fines if you're caught breaking your required self isolation.

We're starting reopening this week although not sure what's open yet. The mall is suppose to open on Thursday though which is probably going to be the biggest risk factor. I have no plans on going to the mall this week, and I won't be going to any non-essential stores prior to getting a mask, and even then I'll be limiting my trips to them even after that.

I do get annoyed at the people who go the wrong direction in one way aisles at the supermarket though. Particularly the STAFF that do this. I think the staff at some of those places are the most common case of people doing that too for those I've personally seen at least.

The only reason I have a mask is because someone at where my sister works made a bunch of them, and my sister brought a few back home. Prior to that, the one time I went out looking to buy a "real" mask (among other things), there were none to be found anywhere I looked. I hate wearing the thing. It sucks. But it's better than being an asshole and/or catching COVID-19.

The staff at the grocery store I usually go to have been generally okay about the whole coronavirus thing. Most of them wear masks, and they've put up plexiglass barriers between the cashiers and customers on top of that. They could maybe be a little more proactive about making customers obey the one-way signs, but that's about it.

Yeah, just went out again today, mainly because I had to set off a bug fogger/bomb/whatever in the basement and just wanted to be out of the house for a few hours while that settled. Went to Walmart and the Food Lion in the Madison/Mayodan area (as opposed to the Oak Ridge FL that I normally go to these days after having moved to Stokesdale) while I was out just to make the outing semi-useful. As usual, people were just barrelling up and down the aisles willy-nilly, ignoring all the green-tape arrows that were on the floor (in Walmart) and the one-way/do not enter signs (in both Walmart and FL). Maybe only a third of the people I saw, if that many, were wearing masks. I was not surprised by this behavior, but that didn't stop me from being aggravated by it.

One of the employees in this Food Lion was in the frozen aisle stocking shelves, and his face and nose were red (which I could clearly see because he was not wearing a mask), and he was coughing like every other breath and wiping his nose on his elbow and shoulder (he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt). I tried my level best to avoid this dude as I was heading to the front. My sister said I probably should have reported it to the management, but she also said it could possibly have just been seasonal allergies or some shit. In any case, I didn't get close to the guy.
