That means it's only one more day before I can go out and vote against Dumbfuck Trump (for Joe Biden), against Thom Tillis (for Cal Cunningham), and against Dan Forest (for Roy Cooper). Mark Walker is not running for reelection, or else I'd have been voting against his dumb ass again, too. The Democrat running to be his replacement is the one getting my vote, naturally. Fortunately, there aren't any Libertarian, Constitution, Green or Whatever-I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck Party losers running in that race to further muddy the waters like there are in the bigger races.
I looked at a sample ballot for my area, and a couple of positions have a Republican running unopposed there, so I'll probably follow John Scalzi's example and leave those blank. The "Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor" position doesn't list whether the one guy running for it is either R or D, and it's the only race that doesn't do so, so I guess I feel okay voting for that one guy running unopposed for that particular position, but I'll be leaving the "NC District Court Judge District 17A Seat 4" and "Board of Education 4" races blank, because the people running for those positions unopposed are labeled as Republicans. I may have voted for the unopposed Republicans in previous elections, but not this time.
