A post on John Scalzi's website.
My thing, at least for this election cycle is that A) I've already voted, and B) even if I hadn't already done that, I have long since passed the point where any new information would have changed my vote. I was always going to vote against Trump and the Republicans. As such, I no longer pay as much attention to politics as I used to, say, one or two or three years ago. It has been a gradual drop-off. A lot of that is because politics makes me almost physically ill now. Not literally... but almost literally. It basically accomplishes nothing for me to continue to follow politics all that much, and only results in me being royally pissed off all the time. All I know is that I want Trump gone, and I want all of those who supported and propped up Trump and made Trump-as-President possible in the first place gone. Beyond that, well... that's for the next election cycle, I guess. *shrug*
