"Quixotic" is such an absurd word. (Apparently) pronounced as "qwiksahtic," even though it's based on Don Quixote, which is pronounced "keyhohtee" rather than "qwiksote," even though the title The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha is the bastardized English spelling of the Spanish title El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha. And "quixotic" itself (or "quijotic") doesn't even exist in Spanish, apparently. The Internet has explanations for why all of this is what it is, and all of them are terrible. I'm not saying I disagree with those explanations, necessarily, I'm just saying they're terrible.
Oh, and yeah, I agree that few people are better representative of the abject shitfuckery that has been the year 2020 than Rudy Giuliani.
