First of all, I'm not sure why NPR even bothered to try to interview Trump, because they should have known this would happen. Second of all, I'm not sure why Trump even bothered to be interviewed by NPR, because he should have known this would happen.
But then, Trump is a pretty stupid guy, after all. Always has been and always will be. NPR would have known that, going in, so they were probably not just expecting it to happen, but actually banking on it happening, because it's not like it makes them look bad or weak or pitiful when the defeated, former president chickens out of tough questions like that. *shrug*
That said, just the fact that they gave him yet another platform to, even if only briefly, spew his usual mouth diarrhea isn't a good thing, even so.
