All the more reason to say fuck Epic Games, I guess. Admittedly, I never really used Bandcamp all that much before, but now I will never be using it at all. In fact, I just logged in for the first time in forever simply to delete my account there.

I only really buy stuff from bandcamp 1-2 per year but what I do from here depends completely on what epic does.

They claim they'll be leaving it entirely alone for the most part, just helping it expand. If so, great. I probably won't care about the takeover. Essentially so long as I can continue to buy the music and download it drm-free from the website, I likely won't care.

If Epic does shit like force people to install their bullshit storefront to buy/download shit from bandcamp, then I'll be done with it. If they start forcing DRM on the mp3s, I'll again be done with it.

Time will tell I guess. I suppose I should buy some things from there before any changes really take place.
