I never gave a single shit about the online stuff in Dark Souls (aside, perhaps, from the player messages or whatever), but...
This is still pretty shitty, if FromSoftware has just decided, eh, fuck it. Personally, I doubt they've abandoned the servers entirely, forever. But then, much shittier things have happened in the modern video game industry that I never would have thought could happen until they happened, so who can truly say, at this point? *shrug*
