Well, that is pretty great news.
Now... my main hope is that Capcom doesn't shit it up with unnecessary and unwanted DRM, DLC (I wouldn't mind proper DLC, eventually, that adds actual new content to it, after the fact, kind of like what Dark Arisen was to the original game), microtransactions and other such bullshit. I'm somewhat more okay with it being "always online," given the nature of the previous game, but I do hope they at least give the option to play it entirely offline still, the same as they did with the first game (even if the offline, generic pawns were complete shit compared to the ones actually created by other players that you could hire while online).
And, like, I hope it doesn't suck from an actual gameplay perspective, too. Honestly, if it were just more of the same from the first game, I'd be okay. I don't necessarily need spiffy new "RE Engine" stuff or whatever, but it just seems like Capcom is making everything using that, now.
