Honestly, I miss the early-pandemic days when John Oliver operated within an empty white void, mainly because back then there wasn't constant, distracting, annoying titter after every fucking thing he said. Not saying his jokes weren't funny, just that the "laugh track" via that audience or whatever definitely made it less so. Especially since I watched it at 2x speed, so it just sounded unnatural.
Aside from that nitpick, though, it was a pretty good episode. Could have done without the frog statue bit, but meh. *shrug*
