Whenever I get a meatball marinara sub from Subway, which is probably once a week or two (just ate the second half of a footlong today that I got yesterday, in fact), I usually get it with American cheese on it. It comes with Parmesan powder by default, but just that is not enough. I tried it with Provolone once, and that was okay too, but I'd just as soon have the American cheese. The only other option is Pepper Jack, which maybe be all right, too, but I haven't tried that yet. Wait, no, just checked the Subway website and Monterey Cheddar is another choice. Haven't tried that yet either.
I can tolerate Kraft Singles or whatever, on a thrown together sandwich or burger or something, but it's not the best. And yeah, it's not even technically "cheese."
Not sure whatever nasty block thing Woolie is talking about here, which he finally got around to explaining as why he hates American cheese so much.
Also, today is the first day I ever heard of the cheese reserve, so that's a thing, I guess.
