"Generative AI models are changing the economy of the web, making it cheaper to generate lower-quality content. We’re just beginning to see the effects of these changes."
This AI bullshit, while bad, isn't some new thing that's coming in out of nowhere to ruin the Internet, it's merely the next bead in a very long string of grotesque, spiky, malformed anal beads that have been buttfucking the Internet for the past decade or three. It's because of all the previous beads loosening the way in that is allowing the AI crap to slide in so effortlessly, relatively speaking. The worst part of it is that the money-grubbing asshats who run the big companies, the ones that essentially are the Internet now, for better or worse, seem to be really into anal beads. (Or maybe the metaphor works better if the money-grubbing asshats are, themselves, the anal beads.) In any case, what you're left with in the end is a shredded, shit-leaking asshole that's going to take a long ass time to heal, assuming it ever will.
