I happened across this thing on this page on KnowYourMeme.
Ignoring for a moment that the whole thing is just a shitty, stupid meme, the fact that the Jack Nicholson Joker and that particular list of games is associated with "Ancient Gamer" is offensive to me. Where the fuck is the Cesar Romero Joker and a list of games like Wasteland, or at least, you know, Fallout (instead of Fallout 3), Half-Life (instead of Portal), Wolfenstein, with or without "3D" or maybe Doom (instead of every single other game on that list), and such? Fuck outta here with that Calluhdoody4 shit being labeled "ancient." ¬_¬
(I mean, slightly more seriously, maybe I'm just missing "the point," and all that new-ish shit being labeled as "ancient" is part of the so-called """""""""""""""joke""""""""""""""" or something. And, no, I'm not actually angry or offended about this... well, at least not any more offended or angered than I am by most other asinine, worthless memes these days. *shrug*)
(EDIT) Here is an "updated" version of it. (Fortnite is apparently "old school" now lol) Yeah, I guess I just don't get it. I mean, unless the "point" is that Kids These Days™ are dumb for thinking that new shit is "ancient" or "old school" or whatever. Or that, like, video games actually matter at all and that society as a whole should take "gamers" seriously. And I've already shared my stance on the ridiculous notion that gamers "get sh&#^*t done."(/EDIT)
