More Friend Request spam on MySpace

Like last time, I made some changes to my MySpace page last night, and when I got up this morning, there were 16 spam Friend requests waiting for me, 12 of which were from "This Profile No Longer Exists". While I've been messing with the page more often than before and this doesn't happen every time I do anything with it, it sometimes seems like these spambots just get on a kick and go absolutely crazy. Last night was just one of those nights for them, I guess. *shrug*

You can change your settings to require that accounts wishing to befriend you know your last name or some other piece of information, I believe. I have it set to my last name and since I've done that, I haven't received any spam.

Hmm, I changed my spam settings to require the CAPTCHA stuff for everything and so far haven't gotten a single spam message or friend request. This is very promising.

I'd known that they'd implemented the ability to mark friend requests as spam a while back, but was unaware that they'd added any other new settings like this. Thanks.
