To follow up, here is another one I've seen popping up more and more often lately that really irks me:

The word is "ridiculous." Okay? R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S.

The word is not "REDiculous." Got that?

Well... yeah...

I've done this, but I've always just been an inherently bad speller.

I'm not talking so much about the occasional misspellings, but more about the fools who apparently do it intentionally (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rediculous), as if it were cool or something. Kind of like "pwn" and such, except that "pwn" doesn't bother me anywhere near as much as "rediculous" does, for some reason. I hope to god that "rediculous" never gets as pervasive as "pwn" has because, well, it's ridiculous.

I've actually seen someone make the following statement: "I could care less about that. It's rediculous." *eye-twitch*
